Welcome to The Hampshire Vet in Basingstoke – a brand new, independently run, Small Animal veterinary practice now providing 24-hour veterinary care.
Meet our founders
Meet Emily Scott and Jamie Cole – The Hampshire Vet was born out of their desire to provide a higher level of in-patient care for the pets of Basingstoke and the wider community.
Opening a Vet practice in Basingstoke with a difference is a lifetime ambition of both Emily and Jamie, who have dedicated their entire lives to becoming Vets since a young age. Emily has lived in the area for nearly 10 years whilst Jamie moved back 5 years ago having grown up locally.

Emily and Jamie have extensive experience within local veterinary hospitals and regard overnight in-patient care as essential to the recovery of unwell pets. This forms the foundation of our values at The Hampshire Vet so that we can minimise disruption in the recovery of our patients. Emily and Jamie also have strong medical and surgical interests that compliment each other to provide a well-rounded treatment approach.

A vet at The Hampshire Vet will be available, onsite, at all times, ensuring that your pets receive the attention they need, whenever they need it. Whether it’s late at night or early in the morning, our dedicated team will be ready to assist.
